How Do I Re-trigger a Campaign?

How to Re-trigger a Campaign?

A campaign is re-triggered when all the users did not receive the communication or it fails to send the communication to all the users. For example, a campaign is scheduled for 10K users and the communication is sent to 5K user only and to another 5K it failed to send any communication. When you come across these kinds of scenarios, what exactly you need to do is re-trigger the campaign.

There are two conditions to re-trigger a campaign:

  1. If Exception Occurred (error).
  2. If the sentCnt = 0 or sentCnt unique users.

Step 1: Click on the campaign that needs to be re-triggered. Get the campaign details.

Step 2: Go to https://staging.firsthive.com/engage/campaignretrigger

Step 3: Do the followings:

  • Select the Account Name from the drop-down.
  • Select the Campaign Type from the drop-down.
  • Select the Campaign Name from the drop-down.
  • Click Go.
Screen 1: Campaign Retrigger
  • Click Partial Reset.
Screen 2: Partial Reset
 NOTE

When you click on Partial Reset, it will delete the user from the list to whom the campaign has already been sent and will send to the rest of the users. As shown in the above screen, the total User Count = 8 and Sent Count = 1 – what it will do is count it as 8 (User Count) – 1 (Sent Count) = 7 (Expected Sent Count).
  • The page displays the following:
  1. User Count = 8
  2. Sent Count = 1
  3. Expected Sent Count (All Users) = 7
Screen 3: Expected Sent Count
  • Click Retrigger.
