Set up and Analyze Multi Channel Conversion Attribution Reports
The “Multi Attribution” report is automatically enabled for any new goal you create in FirstHive CDP.
Viewing the Multi Channel Conversion Attribution Report
Log in to FirstHive CDP and click in the left reporting menu on “Goals” and then select “Multi Attribution.”
On this page, you can select the goal you want to analyze for channel attribution. If your website or app has Ecommerce enabled, you can view channel attribution for Ecommerce orders automatically by navigating to “Ecommerce => Multi Attribution.”
The report lets you select how many days prior to a conversion or purchase you want to attribute and allows you to compare various attribution models.
List of Multi-Channel Attribution Models
The following attribution models are available within FirstHive CDP:
- Last Interaction: Full credit of a conversion goes to the last interaction.
- Last Non-Direct Interaction: Full credit goes to the last interaction that was not a direct entry.
- First Interaction: Full credit goes to the first interaction.
- Linear: Credit is shared equally across all interactions (e.g., if there are 5 visits, each channel/referrer gets 20%).
- Position Based: First and last interactions get 40% each; the remaining 20% is shared equally across all other interactions.
- Time Decay: Credit is distributed across all interactions, giving more weight to more recent interactions.
You can also apply FirstHive CDP segments to the attribution report to gain deeper insights into visitor behavior.
