Real-time Reports

FirstHive CDP provides real-time web analytics reports for Visits Log, Real-time Visits, and the Real-time Map. When you request data for “today,” “current month,” or any date range including today, these reports include the most recent visits, ensuring you always have up-to-date analytics data.

Real-Time Reports

FirstHive CDP gives a live view of visits to your site. The Visits Log, Real-time Visits, and Real-time Map are updated continuously, allowing you to see new page views, actions, and visits as they happen. This feature is enabled by default in the FirstHive dashboard.

Cloud Reports

For FirstHive Cloud users, aggregated reports take some time to process:

  • Today reports are updated every 6 hours.
  • This week / This month reports are updated every 12 hours.
  • This year reports are processed once per day.

On-Premise Reports

For FirstHive On-Premise users, reports are generated in real time when viewing data for today or any date range including today. Logs for today are read from the database and processed every time the report is requested.

  • Default processing interval: Every 15 minutes (900 seconds).
  • Super Users can adjust this interval in the General Settings.
  • For high-traffic websites, it is recommended to process reports every hour (3600 seconds) for near real-time data.

Accessing Your Data

For any report including today, FirstHive CDP shows when the report was last generated. You can also access all your analytics data directly through the API or via SQL queries for deeper analysis.
