Catalogue and Offers

Every FirstHive account now gets a standard product catalogue and offers model, so you can target by product, show live product details in messages, and assign and track unique offer codes.

The problem

FirstHive’s only catalogue was auto-generated from a Shopify product feed. It was locked to one market, stored most product variants and images as unreadable text, and had no field descriptions. There was no offers model at all, so personalised offers, coupon codes and redemptions were built as custom work for each brand, or not done.

That blocked product-aware journeys (price drop, back in stock, abandoned cart), product recommendations, and offer-based nudges. Coupon codes were pasted into templates as static text, and redemptions were reconciled in Excel.

How it solves the problem

Catalogue

  • A standard product model for every account, whatever the source: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or a file feed.
  • Products with variants, prices for any number of markets and currencies, and searchable images, options and categories.
  • Usable across FirstHive: Segment builder filters, personalisation tokens and dynamic product blocks in every channel, journey triggers when a product changes, reporting and Eddie.
  • A 90-day price history powers price-drop triggers.

Offers

  • Create offers in FirstHive or bring them in from another system.
  • Upload unique code pools, and FirstHive assigns each customer their own code at send time.
  • Redemptions are matched automatically from transactions, and offer events appear on the customer profile.

Existing accounts move to the new model with no data loss. FirstHive doesn’t replace your product system or calculate discounts at checkout: your commerce platform still applies the discount.
