Unified Transactions Report
One standard transactions report that works the same way for every industry, with metrics that mean the same thing in every account.
The problem
FirstHive uses a different transaction model for each industry. Retail has orders with products. Loyalty splits activity into earn, burn and redemption. Insurance has policies, mutual funds have purchases, redemptions, switches and SIPs, real estate has bookings, and airlines have PNR bookings.
Because of this, there was no single transactions report:
- Every brand needed custom report work.
- The same metric, such as average transaction value, meant different things in different accounts.
- Pre-sales couldn’t demo a standard reporting answer to prospects.
How it solves the problem
- One report for six industries: Retail and eCommerce, Loyalty, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Real Estate and Airlines all get the same KPIs, charts and drill-downs, with no custom code.
- A shared transaction model: each industry’s data maps into a common model of transaction type, direction, status and value. FirstHive ships ready-made mappings for all six industries.
- One set of metric definitions: Gross Transaction Value, Net Value, Transactions, Transacting Customers, Average Transaction Value, repeat rate and more mean the same thing everywhere, and reconcile to your source system within 0.01%.
- Your industry’s words: labels change to match your business (Orders, Policies, Bookings, Investments). The underlying definitions never do.
- Fast: totals come from pre-computed summaries, and the transaction list loads from a ready-made view.
Industry-specific analytics, such as AUM by scheme or claims ratios, stay in dedicated dashboards.
